I’m Michelle!
A Registered Nurse, Navy Veteran, Adventurer, Friend, Daughter, and Sister who watched the healthcare system disappoint and fail my patients, loved ones, and myself far too many times. This realization ignited a fire to offer a better health alternative to the world. I soon found Nurse Coaching, and am so excited about the paradigm shift to come.
I believe it’s time to turn health back into a holistic & preventative practice, using food, exercise, emotional care, and community to re-build our knowledge of holistic wellness, heal chronic illness, and improve our lives in permanent and amazing ways.

So what is it? Much like the coaching and lessons you might have received in sports, music, art, or other activities as a child, health coaching provides guidance, strategies, and accountability for your health journey.
Nurse Health Coaches like myself are trained to not only help you reach your health goals, but we understand that you need a REALISTIC program which accommodates your busy lifestyle.
Also, unlike many health coaches that have not received any formal medical education, Nurse Health Coaches can safely help clients with existing conditions, like high blood pressure, diabetes, autoimmune issues and more, SAFELY integrate holistic wellness into their lives. With time, effort, and discipline, we often see clients decrease or even eliminate certain medications they have relied upon for years. We truly treat the ROOT of the issue, not just the symptoms.

My Approach
step 1: free consultation
Start with a FREE 30-minute consultation where I explain what Health Coaching is, and learn about your goals, dreams, and needs to determine if Health Coaching is a good fit for you.
Step 2: First session
In this 90-minute session, we dive deep into the WHY behind your health journey and explore the major areas you wish to improve, your barriers and obstacles, and strategies for implementing holistic health practices into your life. Together we craft an initaial game plan, and help you envision success. You receive a detailed email addressing everything covered and your game plan going forward so that you have it to reference and motivate you until our next session!
step 3: follow up sessions
Subsequent follow up sessions are usually 1 hour and include a review of your progress from the previous sessions, trouble shooting obstacles you encountered, and charting a realistic pathway forward. We also employ mindfulness, gratitude, praise, and inquisitive problem solving to help you craft the perfect next goal and remember your WHY. You receive a detailed review of what we discuss via email after each session.
